The Northwest Healthcare Response Network is pleased to join the Common Health Coalition as we further advance our shared commitment to the collaboration of health care and public health to build a more resilient health system.
Since our inception, the Northwest Healthcare Response Network has committed to strengthening the connection and coordination between health care and public health and building these partnerships to prepare for and respond to emergencies. This collaboration is at the core of our mission and at the heart of everything we do to prepare, respond, and recover, while building greater resilience for the next emergency.
We are proud to join health care and public health leaders from across the country as a new member of the Common Health Coalition. In doing so, we are committed to bold action to improve how health care and public health work together.
A message from our Executive Director
The Northwest Healthcare Response Network was born from the collaboration between health care and public health and a shared vision that we are more effective in our preparedness and response by working together. Esteemed health care and public health leaders around the country know that this partnership is vital to our shared purpose of protecting the health of our communities and caring for patients in any kind of emergency or disaster. We are thrilled to join them through the Common Health Coalition to advance this work with the urgency and importance it warrants. We will continue leading multi-sector, interdisciplinary collaboration, coordination, information-sharing, and innovation to build readiness and resilience while leveraging our voice and expertise to drive the changes needed to prepare our health system for tomorrow’s emergencies.
