Radiological Response Tabletop Exercise (RadTTX) – Part of MRSE exercise
May 23 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Medical Response & Surge Exercise (MRSE) is a functional exercise conducted by NWHRN to assess its ability to perform key functions. As part of our assessment of regional response capabilities, the RadTTX will serve as the response coordination portion of the MRSE.
This tabletop focuses on hospital response during the first 24 hours after “dirty bomb” explodes at a large public event. Its objectives include clarifying responsibilities and capabilities of first responders, assessing regional hospital response capabilities, and leading practices for staff augmentation during an emergency.
Target Audience:
Acute Care Hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals, Standalone Emergency Departments, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Departments, Regional/State/Federal HAZMAT response agencies, and Local Health Jurisdictions
