This training, conducted on March 6, 2018, described the Network’s Regional Patient Movement Response Plan. It covered the following topics for King, Pierce, and Kitsap counties:
- Mass Casualty Response (MCI) – healthcare response
- Hospital Evacuation
- Long-Term Care Evacuation
- Specialty Patient Movement
- Coalition Surge Test (April 2018)
About the Plan:
This plan combines, streamlines, and replaces the existing King, Pierce, and Kitsap hospital and long-term care evacuation plans. This plan was built using a template created by the NWHRN for all healthcare coalitions in Western Washington and connects to a Multi-Regional Patient Movement Plan (in development) for coordination across Western Washington.
