The Northwest Healthcare Response Network (NWHRN), along with the long-term care advisory group, are hosting quarterly outreach sessions with Long Term Care (LTC) providers to establish awareness for preparing resilient health care systems that saves lives and serve the community during emergencies. The vision in these outreach sessions is to support information sharing and discussions regarding emergency preparedness, response, and planning. The purpose of these conversations are to connect LTC facilities and supporting partner agencies across the state with the goal of building resilient system capabilities together.
During the first introductory session on July 24th, NWHRN worked with providers to gather ideas on topics and tools for the upcoming sessions, which include ideas for speakers to learn from about emergency preparedness, and support interactive learnings sessions with participants. The NWHRN will record these sessions to allow for shared learnings and suggests prioritizing attendance as able. The July 24th session recording is available HERE. The slides without recording are also available HERE.
Future sessions will be posted to our Event Calendar.
