2025 Medical Response & Surge Exercise (MRSE) – Eastern WA

The Northwest Healthcare Response Network will conduct a functional Medical Response & Surge Test exercise on Thursday, May 22nd for Eastern Washington partners. The exercise is designed to examine and evaluate the ability of NWHRN and other stakeholders to support medical surge related to a mass casualty incident (MCI). The exercise will consist of a large mass casualty incident that will impact hospitals across Western Washington. This exercise will focus on the alert, notification, activation elements, and patient movement and surge. The exercise will also assess the availability of critical resources needed during an MCI event.
Players for this exercise include Hospital, EMS, Local Health Jurisdiction and Emergency Management Agency partners.
